Recently when out looking for barns to paint - I went out to Creve Coeur where I grew up and painted the Beckemeier Barns!  I used to play there with my friend Rita B when we were in elementary school! I still remember drinking well water - so cold and delish!

Today, I painted with several local artists in Augusta. I completed 2 paintings! The speed of plein air painting is truly astounding. I can spend days (and even weeks) in studio on a painting, but outside, the need is for completion before the light changes.
